New Teacher Orientation: 
August 

The PCTA welcomed new educators to the district with resources, support, and community connections. The event introduced union leadership, outlined teacher rights and benefits, and fostered a sense of solidarity among attendees. It marked an exciting start to the school year, focused on empowerment and collaboration.

Making Strides Walk: 
October

This October, PCTA teachers stepped out of the classroom and into the community for the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Dressed in pink and united by a common cause, educators walked together to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. It was an inspiring day of solidarity, highlighting the compassion and spirit of support that defines the PCTA family.

Food Drive:
February

The PCTA is proud to support our local community through our annual Food Drive. Together, our members help collect and provide much-needed food and supplies to families in need. Thank you to all of our members for helping make a difference in our community!

Welcome Back at Crawford Park:
September

Teachers kicked off the new school year at the Welcome Back Party held at Crawford Park, hosted by the PCTA. The event was a joyful reunion filled with food and camaraderie,

setting a positive tone for the months ahead. It was a chance for educators to reconnect, relax, and gear up for a strong start to the school

year.

New Teachers Luncheon:
November

The PCTA extended a warm welcome to the district’s newest educators at the New Teacher Luncheon. The event offered a friendly environment for new hires to meet union leadership, ask questions, and break bread with their new colleagues. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce them to the supportive community that awaits them and to ensure they feel at home from day one.
